EURON PhD Days 2023

We are pleased to invite you to the 23nd edition of the EURON PhD Days. This year, the EURON PhD days will be organized at Maastricht University on the 26th and 27th of January 2023.
It will be an opportunity for PhD students to discuss their findings, thoughts, and insights with other PhD students and senior researchers while learning about recent proceedings in science occurring outside of their own university.

The programme of the meeting consists of plenary sessions and parallel sessions focusing on advances in neural stem cell models, neuroimaging, neurodegeneration and -development, neuronal trauma, and neuropsychiatry. Each parallel session will be introduced by a presentation of a senior scientist followed by four PhD student talks.

Confirmed on-topic speakers are Prof. Natalia Kononenko (Cologne), Dr. Hans de Munter (Neuroplast), Prof. Irene Neuner (UK Aachen), Dr. Sebastien Bouret (University of Lille) and Dr. Elisabeth Piccart (UHasselt), who will present their ongoing research.
In addition, we will organize workshops on scientific integrity and ethics (Dr. Martin van Boxtel - Maastricht University), transferable skills, science communication (Dr. Job van den Hurk - Maastricht University), and two poster sessions. Last but not least, we will award a prize for the best neuroscience image.

This edition of the EURON PhD days will be an on-site event, without any hybrid options available. Currently, there are no COVID-measures in the Netherlands for organized events. In case these changes, you will be able to find up-to-date information on this webpage. After two tough COVID-years, we look forward to fully enjoying symposia again.
