The research group Geometry, Physics, and Probability (GPP) of the Institute for Research in Mathematics and Physics (IRMP) of UCLouvain is offering a research fellowship in the framework of the FNRS Research Project “Determinantal Point Processes and Integrable Methods”. The research interests of candidates include preferably one or several of the following topics : determinantal point processes, random matrix theory, integrable probability, integrable differential equations.
The fellowship can be filled at PhD or post-doctoral level. In case of a PhD recruitment, the duration of the fellowship is 2y + 2y renewable. In case of a post-doctoral recruitment, it is 1y, with possible extension of at most two years. Salary scales depend on seniority, but lie around 2300-2400 € net monthly for PhD students and range from 2900 to 3100 € net monthly for post-doctoral researchers. Furthermore, working conditions are flexible and travel funds will be made available to the successful candidate.
