Secondary school internships
The CP3 welcomes secondary school students at the end of the "congé de détente (Carnaval)" for the last 2-3 days (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 6 to 8 of March in 2024). In order to maximize efficiency, internships are gathered and alternated between common activities and personal observation times and discussions with researchers. Some possible common activities are:
- Cyclotron visit
- UCLouvain computing centre visit
- Particle physics labs visits
Interns will also have the option to participate in small experiments, depending on their fields of interest:
- Building a cloud chamber
- Building a Michelson interferometre
- LHC data analysis
- ...
