As we approach physical limits in energy production, sustainability will probably not be achieved through technology alone. In this framework, Benoît Pairet invites us to think about new ways to use and develop technology. What could be the role of engineers and technologies in tomorrow's world ?

Benoît Pairet is an engineer in applied mathematics. He is currently doing a PhD in signal processing at UCL.
Curious and fascinated by sciences, he is interested in societal and environmental issues and more speciically in the role of engineers and technologies. During his studies, he participated in the project Ingénieux-Sud, and UCL to Mars.
