Rectoral Adviser for the Digital University and Open Science

Yves Deville is a professor at the Louvain School of Engineering and a member of the Institute for Information and Communication Technologies, Electronics and Applied Mathematics (ICTEAM). His teaching and research focuses on computer science, artificial intelligence and optimisation.

Mandate: Oversee the definition and manage the implementation of the university's digital strategy. Ensure the evolution of the university towards open science. Chair the MOOCs and TICE steering committees. Via delegation by the Director General, assume functional responsibility for the Information System General Department (SGSI) and, in this capacity, chair the Information System Governance Body (GSI).
