To meet the need to upgrade the detection capabilities of its UltraPerformance Convergence Chromatography (UPC²) acquired in 2012, the LIBST-BNTE technical team collaborated with the MOCA platform to acquire a new mass spectrometer as part of the Plan de Relance and the Energy Transition Platform of Excellence funded by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

Renovation work in the Maxwell building's basements is now complete, enabling installation of WELCOME's optoelectronic/multiphysics equipment.

With the support of the LACAMI and WINFAB platforms, a team from UCLouvain has developed a new type of coating with exceptional mechanical properties, which holds great promise for use in environments combining corrosion, erosion, wear and mechanical stress.

As part of the Plan de Relance and the Energy Transition Platform of Excellence, the CREDEM has just acquired a state-of-the-art flow visualisation and optical diagnostics system to develop new experimental activities and increase its expertise in this field.

The main aim of this platform is twofold : to provide a quality service to the public in recognised areas of expertise, and to enable research into clinical or specific populations.
