Doctor in Philosophy at the Université Catholique de Louvain. He is a member of the Chaire Hoover d´éthique économique et sociale and of the Institut Supérior de Philosophie. His doctorate was financed by the ARC research project on pension reform (“SAS Pensions”), where he took part as a fellow. Within the project, Manuel´s research concerns the social adequacy of pensions. More specifically, he works on the idea of a fair pension reform and its (re)distribution of burdens and benefits across generations. In general, Manuel is most interested in Political Philosophy with a focus on distributive justice.
