Information for students

I hereby invite you to the 25th Ph.D Students’ Day of our institute, held on Friday 21st of May 2021. Exceptionally this year, it will be organized as an online event.
This successful event usually brings together more than 200 students, academics and industrial partners, both from Belgium and abroad every year.

This year, because of the online format, the Ph.D. Students’ Day will focus on a single major activity, which is the oral communications presented by 3rd and 4th year Ph.D. students. Therefore, we ask you to send your abstract for Friday April 9th, within the provided template. The template is available by this link and your abstract should be sent to the following address jdoc‑

Due to time constraints and the high number of potential oral presentations, a selection of the best and most representative research of our institute will be made among the received abstracts for two plenary sessions of full-length communications (15+5 minutes).

The other students will have to prepare a 3 min videoclip presenting the topic and the main achievements of their research. They will be featured in two additional sessions and accessible to all the registered participants via the webpage of the event.

There will be prizes for both the best presentation and videoclip.

More information is available on our website , which will be regularly updated.

We are looking forward to welcoming you on the 21th of May for this online scientific event.
