A PhD student / a Technician
Desired qualifications:
- PhD student: Master in Biomedical Sciences, Biology, or equivalent. Good level of English Language required.
- Or Technician: bachelier en Biologie, biologie moléculaire ou équivalent.
Project: respiratory and sweat glands epithelial biology in cystic fibrosis
The project will explore different aspects of the bronchial epithelial cells in patients with cystic fibrosis (i.e. the role of the Club cells), as well as the study of the CF sweat collected by sweat test (MUCOSWEATOMICS) and by bubble test (STRACYFIC). The MUCOSWEATOMICS project will assess proteomics and metabolomics aspects of the CF sweat, CF tissue and primary CF bronchial epithelial cells cultured in air liquid interface. The STRACYFIC project will stratify the CF patients to predict the efficacy of drug therapy for CF by inference from the novel sweat biomarkers of the new β-adrenergic sweat test in conjunction with the clinical patient data.
Dates and funding: funding obtained for 3 year, full-time (start prior June 2023).
