The EPILUNG-CARE consortium from the DDUV and IREC institutes
looks for a:
Postdoc researcher
The research project integrates the concerted research action/Action de Recherche Concertée (ARC) called
“Epigenomic and proteomic investigation of lung regeneration and disease (EPILUNG-CARE)” which
consists of a scientific effort of 3 groups to explore dysregulations of lung cell regeneration in patients with
chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
The postdoc position will consist of connecting epigenomic studies of progenitor cells (LUNS-Pilette group, in
collaboration with GEPI-De Smet group) to single-cell proteomic and transcriptomic data of the human lung
(CBIO-Gatto group), in order to identify new markers of progenitors in small airways (basal cells, club cells
and variants) and their dysregulation in disease.
Practical aspects: Grant starting from 01 Oct 2024, for one or two years whilst applying to other funding sources
for prolongation. Qualification: PhD in biomedical sciences or biology; or equivalent. Application & information:
