Ethics committees and support at UCLouvain

biul |

A number of structures exist within UCLouvain to promote ethics in research practices, comply with the relevant legal requirements and meet the needs of the field.

If you are conducting clinical research, contact the hospital-faculty ethics committee. This ethics committee issues advisory or binding opinions, depending on the subject.

Several UCLouvain research institutes have their own ethics committees to advise on the ethical aspects of research. To find out more, contact your research institute and visit the Research Administration intranet pages : https://www.uclouvain.be/fr/myuclouvain/adre/ethique

You should also contact the Research Data Officer (RDO), the Data Privacy Officer (DPO) and the Legal Department of the UCLouvain Research Administration to guide you through the process.
