The Faculty of Bioengineering offers four bioengineering master’s courses:
- agricultural sciences;
- chemistry and bioindustry;
- environmental science and technology;
- forest and ecosystem management.
These courses are accredited by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), the accreditation authority for French professional engineers.
CTI recognises the high quality of the faculty’s teaching, the relevance of its programmes to labour market needs, and the satisfaction of employers with the quality of its graduates.
CTI is one of the founding members of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), which created the EUR-ACE® certifying label. The label’s objectives are to:
- provide a European certificate for engineering courses;
- improve the quality of engineering training programmes;
- facilitate agreements for the recognition of diplomas;
- promote the academic mobility of students and the professional mobility of engineers.
The label is awarded to engineering programmes that meet the quality criteria of the EUR-ACE® Framework Standards and Guidelines (EAFSG). The framework describes the skills graduates are expected to have acquired by the end of an engineering course at two levels: bachelor’s and master’s.
The label certifies that the course makes it possible to acquire these skills, which have been duly assessed. It is awarded by ENAEE member agencies, which are authorised to do so by the ENAEE following a periodic assessment.
Since its 2006 creation, CTI has been a European quality assurance agency authorised to award the label at master's level.
