Founded in 1811, the University of Oslo (UiO) is Norway’s oldest and largest institution of higher education, with 27,000 students and 7,000 members of staff. UiO enjoys an excellent reputation in the field of linguistics (corpus linguistics, contrastive linguistics and translation studies) and has a centre of excellence for multilingualism: the Center for Multilingualism in Society across the Lifespan (MultiLing). |
