Gloria Corpas Pastor (Universidad de Málaga)
BA in German Philology (English) from the University of Malaga. PhD in English Philology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1994). Visiting Professor in Translation Technology at the Research Institute in Information and Language Processing (RIILP) of the University of Wolverhampton, UK (since 2007), honorary Adjunct Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China (since 2020), and Professor in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Malaga, Spain (since 2008). Published and cited extensively, member of several international and national editorial and scientific committees. Spanish delegate for AEN/CTN 174 and CEN/BTTF 138, actively involved in the development of the UNE-EN 15038:2006 and currently involved in ISO TC37/SC2-WG6 "Translation and Interpreting", where she is in charge of ISO/AWI 20539 (Translation, interpreting and related technology – Vocabulary) and ISO/DIS 18841 (Interpreting services – General requirements and recommendations). Extensive experience in evaluation programmes (institutional evaluation, verification, monitoring, accreditation). President of the Evaluation and Verification Commission (Arts and Humanities) at Fundación para el Conocimiento Madrid, President of the Evaluation Committee (the Arts and Humanities) at ACCUEE, member of the specific committee for doctorate programmes at AQU, among others. Evaluator for ANECA and other evaluation agencies (AQU, ACCUEE, DEVA). She also collaborates regularly as evaluator for the Spanish Ministry in various R&D and youth employment programmes. She has been awarded the “2017 Farola Award” in the field of New Technologies, given by the Andalusian Women’s Institute, Junta de Andalucía. President of AIETI (Iberian Association of Translation and Interpreting Studies, 2015-2017), Vice-President of AMIT-A (Association of Women in Science and Technology of Andalusia, 2014-2017), and Director of the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Malaga (2016-2021), she is currently Board member and member of the Advisory council of EUROPHRAS (European Society of Phraseology) and member of the Scientific council of AIETI. In addition, she belongs as a life member to the Presidential Committee of AIETI, which is an advisory body of the association.

Ruslan Mitkov (University of Wolverhampton)
Prof Ruslan Mitkov’s extensively cited research covers 260 publications on various topics of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Translation Technology. He is author of the monograph Anaphora resolution (Longman), sole Editor of The Oxford Handbook of Computational Linguistics (Oxford University Press), Executive Editor of the Journal of Natural Language Engineering (Cambridge University Press), Editor-in-Chief of John Benjamins’ NLP book series, Programme Chair and keynote speaker of many international conferences. Dr Mitkov is Director of the Research Institute in Information and Language Processing (University of Wolverhampton). He is Humboldt Fellow and Marie Curie Fellow. In recognition of his outstanding research/professional achievements, Prof Mitkov was awarded twice the title of Doctor Honoris Causa.
Antonio Pamies Bertrán (Universidad de Granada)
Antonio PAMIES BERTRÁN is Professor of General Linguistics at the University of Granada, where he works as a teacher and researcher since 1987. He has a degree in translation-interpreting, a master's degree in French philology and a PhD. in Linguistics. He is honorary member of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine and corresponding member of the American Academy of the Spanish Language (ANLE). He has also been a member of the board and vice-president of Europhras, as well as honorary president of the Italian Society of Phraseology (Phrasis). He is the author of about 100 publications on contrastive linguistics, mainly phraseology and phonetics, published in books or journals of twenty countries. Co-author of books such as El arte del insulto (with J.d.D. Luque and F.J. Manjón); Metáfora y fraseología (with E.M. Iñesta); El lenguaje de los enfermos (with F. Rodríguez Simón), Analogie, figement et polysémie (with S. Mejri and P.Monneret); Metaphorical competence and phraseological motivation (with D. Dobrovol'skij).
Magali Paquot (Université catholique de Louvain)
Magali Paquot is a permanent FNRS research associate at the Centre for English Corpus Linguistics, Language and Communication Institute, UCLouvain. She has explored the many facets of phraseological units (most particularly collocations and lexical bundles) in linguistic theory, English for Academic Purposes, and electronic lexicography but her main area of expertise lies at the intersection between Learner Corpus Research and Second Language Acquisition. Her publications on English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners’ use of word combinations can be found in journals such as the International Journal of Corpus Linguistics, the Annual Review of Applied Linguistics, Language Assessment Quarterly and Second Language Research. Her latest co-edited volumes include Second Language Acquisition and Learner Corpora (Cambridge University Press, 2021; co-edited with B. Le Bruyn), The Practical Handbook of Corpus Linguistics (Springer, 2020; co-edited with S. Th. Gries) and The Routledge Handbook of Second Language Acquisition and Corpora (Routledge, 2021; co-edited with N. Tracy-Ventura). Magali Paquot is also one of the founding members of the Learner Corpus Association and co-editor of the International Journal of Learner Corpus Research (co-edited with S. Götz, Phillips University Marburg).
Agata Savary (Université de Tours)
Agata Savary is an associate professor in computer science at the University of Tours in France. She holds a MSc from the University of Warsaw (Poland), and a PhD in from the University of Marne-la-Vallée (France). Her research interests include Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods for language resources and tools, multiword expressions (MWEs) and coreference. She co-chaired the 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019 editions of the
MWE workshop and served as the elected representative of the SIGLEX MWE-Section in 2016-2020.
She coordinated the PARSEME COST Action (2013-2017) on parsing and MWEs, which resulted in creating a large international community, still active despite the end of the funding period, gathered around modelling and processing MWEs for NLP. In this framework Agata Savary coordinates the multilingual effort toward unified terminology and annotation methodology for MWEs (PARSEME guidelines), corpus construction (PARSEME corpora) and shared tasks on automatic identification of MWEs.
She is currently co-editor-in-chief of the Phraseology and Multiword Expressions book series at Language Science Press.
Alexander Ziem (Universität Düsseldorf)
Prof. Dr. Alexander Ziem is Chair of German Linguistics at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and Director of the Integrated Research Training Group for the DFG Collaborative Research Centre 991 "The Structure of Representations in Language, Cognition and Science". After several teaching and research activities at the Technical University Berlin and the University of Basel, Switzerland, he was a Fellow at the "International Computer Science Institute" (FrameNet) in Berkeley, California, USA, in 2013 and 2014. He was co-director of the DFG projects "Linguistic Constructions of 'Crises' in the BRD (1973-2009)" and "Methods and Methodologies of Discourse Analysis". His main research areas are cognitive semantics, frame semantics, construction grammar, phraseology as well as corpus and discourse linguistics. His publications include a wide range of topics, ranging from lexical semantics and constructional idioms to linguistic framing and conceptual metaphors. Currently, his research focuses on developing a German FrameNet and Construction (www.german-constructicon.de).
