A huge question, isn't it? To help you better understand what our researchers in management are doing, we are launching the LouRIM Pitch My Research videos series. Every two weeks, you will find here a new video presenting a researcher of the institute and the research he or she conducts, in order to better understand the ins and outs of management research, as well as its key topics and methods.

This episode takes us to research fields less familiar to management, but just as essential! Arthur Sluÿters, PhD student in gesture and motion recognition, presents his doctoral research. His project studies 3D gesture recognition using radar in order to develop the human-machine interfaces of the future.

EP4: Sabrina Courtois – Researcher in corporate social responsibility

In this episode, we meet Sabrina Courtois, PhD student in corporate social responsibility. Specifically, Sabrina is looking at how decision-makers are expanding their knowledge of the subject to provide more sustainable practices in their organisations. To do this, she focuses mainly on communities of practice, i.e. communities formed by members with a common interest who decide to get together, learn from each other and share good practices in order to develop their own.

EP9 : Amélie Jacquemin - A research in entrepreneurship

Our ninth episode introduces Amelie Jacquemin, professor in entrepreneurship. She talks with passion about her research interests in the entrepreneurial process (i.e. the creative process, the coaching process and entrepreneurs’ legitimacy), the entrepreneurial cognition and the education to entrepreneurship. EP22: Axelle Dorisse - Researcher in consumer eating behaviour

In this new episode, we meet Axelle Dorisse, researcher in consumer eating behaviour. Her research focuses on eating behaviour in relation to the concept of sustainable food. Through this research, Axelle is seeking to understand how to help consumers change their eating habits on the one hand, and on the other, how to help them make the right choices to eat in a way that is both healthier and more sustainable?
