Hardware:
Sometimes, your computer performances are not sufficient to analyze your data, and you need high performance computing solution. There are multiple solutions at UCLouvain:
- Interactive computing servers https://www.cism.ucl.ac.be/doc/_contents/Interactive/index.html among which two machines are configured for statistical analyses and are managed in collaboration with SMCS.
- On-site compute clusters https://www.cism.ucl.ac.be/doc/_contents/Computing/index.html that offer the power of hundreds of computers. If you need help using those resources, contact the CISM or join their training sessions: https://indico.cism.ucl.ac.be/category/1/
- Off-site compute clusters hosted at other Belgian universities, or even Regional-, or European-level clusters, through the CECI consortium http://www.ceci-hpc.be.
