1. Synergy: Association: Osmose

In order to ensure an efficient transfer from theoretical knowledge of Basic and Clinical Research to the treatment of diseases, the Institute carries out a coordination and management mission. The Institute will promote initiatives that encourage the share of allocated resources and the pooling of researchers skills coming from traditionally disconnected disciplines.

2. Professionalism

The Institute allocates human, material, scientific and logistic resources necessary to develop a competitive research of international level. Its purpose is to provide an appropriate environment for the career development of clinicians "research professionals" and basic researchers. To accomplish its mission, it maintains relationships and collaborations with the other institutes, sectors and organisations of the university.

3. Doctoral Training

By collaborating with the Experimental and Clinical Proximity Committee (ECLI) of the Domain Doctoral School, the Institute also provides a training mission. Through the various training programs, it allows clinical researchers to become familiar with the disciplines and methodologies of basic research, and also basic researchers to confront the skills and methodologies of clinical research.
