Horizon 2020 project ‘Innovation and Training Program Marie Skłodowska-Curie (ITN Marie Curie) THERADNET’, of whom Pr. Pierre Sonveaux (UCLouvain / IREC / FATH) is a partner, has been selected for funding by the European Commission. This project, which aims to improve the efficiency and reduce the toxicity of anticancer radiotherapy, will enable the collaboration between 8 academic partners (including the universities of Zurich, Essen, Maastricht, Dresden, Oxford and UCLouvain, as well as the Curie Institute and the Dresden Proton Therapy Centre) and 13 associated organizations. At IREC, it will finance two PhD positions during 3 years each.
