The Revue pratique des sociétés - Tijdschrift voor Rechtspersoon en Vennootschap (RPS-TRV) is a bilingual legal journal whose objective is to inform specifically about the doctrine and jurisprudence in the field of the law of legal persons and companies, and in which an important place is also dedicated to the accounting law, the financial law and the fiscal law
The RPS
-TRV contains not only in-depth contributions, but also :
- annual columns, in particular on company law, law of associations, tax law, financial law and accounting law
- detailed positions on pending issues
- current case law, analyzed and commented
- and finally "The Amendment", where legislative changes are proposed to improve our law for practical purposes, or occasionally "In good terms", a section devoted to the correct use of a word, terminological errors or the correct concordance of a word with a term from the other national language.
In short, a critical, scientific and multidisciplinary professional journal of high quality, containing useful information for legal practice.
Subscribers receive the RPS-TRV 8 times a year and have access to the database via www.rps-trv.be
History
The Revue Pratique des Sociétés was founded in 1889. Its first editorial board included Gustave Smets, René Buisseret, Louis Anné, Georges Cernil, Charles Demeure, Victor Claesens, Louis De Beys and Jean Mommaert. The function of editor-in-chief was then assumed by Albert Nyssens, Jean Corbiau, Fernand Passelecq, Paul Demeur, Jean Renauld, Pierre Coppens, François T'Kint and Yves De Cordt.
The Tijdschrift voor Rechtspersoon en Vennootschap was founded in 1988. Its first editorial board included Jan Ronse, Koen Geens, Stefaan Van Crombrugge, Johan Tyteca, Dirk Van Gerven en Marieke Wyckaert.
On December 9, 2015, the editorial boards of both journals decided to join forces, effective January 1, 2016, to create the bilingual journal Revue Pratique des Sociétés - Tijdschrift voor Rechtspersoon en Vennootschap (RPS-TRV).
