World Intellectual Property Day 2021 - Taking your ideas to market

In a context where economic recovery is a necessity, it is essential for companies - in collaboration with their academic partners - to know how to leverage intellectual property rights to become stronger, more competitive and more resilient.

Through IP rights, an idea can be turned into reality by creating new business-research collaborations, opening up new commercial opportunities, and/or creating a spin-off, ultimately creating jobs and expanding the range of innovative products and services available.

>>> More information is available on the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) platform.

This year again, the Louvain Technology Transfer Office is joining forces with the LiEU Network (Liaison Entreprises-Universités) - a network that brings together the Knowledge Transfer Offices of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles universities - to organise various activities in virtual mode.

Therefore the LiEU Network is offering you content related to IP rights on social networks during the week of 26 April, so be sure to follow it on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter.

The LTTO also provides you with several tools related to IP and knowledge transfer.

Finally, the LTTO's knowledge transfer advisors, IP experts and lawyers are available to answer your questions on IP and valorisation.

Do not hesitate to contact them.
