CFA Institute Research Challenge / Our Master in Financial Management students qualified for the final

Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons

The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Each student will be tested on their analytical, valuation, report writing, and presentation skills. They gain real-world experience as they assume the role of a research analyst.

Once again this year, our Master in Financial Management students (an LSM / ICHEC double degree) are participating. The team ranked second for the Benelux and is qualified for the local final.
This global competition provides students with intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics and gives them real-world experience, testing them in their role as research analysts. For UCLouvain, this program is coordinated by Professor Isabelle Platten.

With 79.3%, the UCLouvain / ICHEC team is just behind the HEC Liège team (80%) and ahead of the Maastricht team (76.3%). This is the 6th time in 9 years and the 5th consecutive year that the UCLouvain / ICHEC team has qualified for the Benelux final. A very good result which illustrates and confirms the quality of the training provided in the Financial Management major in collaboration with ICHEC.

Congratulations to the students of the team, their coach and those involved, good luck for the rest of the contest!
