Pierre-Olivier Beckers, Chairman of the LSM Advisory Council reviews the work done this year

Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons

Pierre-Olivier, how did the Advisory Council work this year?

The Advisory Council has evolved towards a more agile body, which enables responding more effectively to LSM's requests. Regularly, LSM submits strategic questions on which Advisory Council members work in small groups to develop innovative solutions. The goal is, of course, to help LSM stay among the top of the world's management schools with the most relevant programmes for its students.

What issues has the Advisory Council been working on this year?

This year, Advisory Council members worked with LSM staff to update the competency framework that every young graduate of the Louvain School of Management must have worked on during their studies. The results have already been incorporated by the teams in charge of program development over the coming years.

Finally, can you already tell us what topics the Advisory Council will be working on next year?

The final choice of themes that will mobilize the Advisory Council will be decided on at the end of June. However, I believe that our reflections will most likely cover topics such as digital transformation, students’ internationalization and the launch of new LSM International Executive MBA, which will be launched in 2020.
