UCLouvain and BMI show solidarity by supporting participants and their companies in the financing of the EMBA

Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons

All parts of society have been impacted by the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic having to adapt to the changing and uncertain times. Unifying and being socially responsible is extremely important if we want to facilitate post pandemic recovery activities.

“The pandemic has understandably impacted our school’s life. Nevertheless, we are and have always been exercising a socially responsible business model. We stand in solidarity with those who are at the front lines of the pandemic as well as with the rest of society and especially the business community. We commit to making the most efficient provisions for all of our participants, our partners and our staff” – comments the Director General of BMI, Mrs. Jurga Bendikaitė - Ursavas.

Professors Jean-Paul Larçon (HEC-Paris) and Pierre Semal (UCLouvain), both BMI Board members, continue: “We realize that it’s our obligation to be proactive and provide support to our EMBA participants. Therefore, we are going to allocate financial resources to contain the economic effects of the coronavirus. This year’s applicants may be eligible for considerable grants towards the UCLouvain BMI International EMBA tuition fees. We also urge our participants, colleagues and partners to act with compassion and concern for those who have been directly or indirectly impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.”

The challenges we are facing are not institution or country specific but global. This is why international cooperation is crucial to overcome the crisis. UCLouvain and BMI, together with their members and partners around the world, are going to take measures to respond to the current situation to minimize the impacts of the pandemic.

Through their joint International Executive MBA, UCLouvain and BMI offer quality international learning to busy managers and entrepreneurs who are looking for growth opportunities. We apply a “learning-by-doing” teaching method so that our students get to practice and master the skills right away. The professors of different nationalities come to our school from various parts of the world to make the education experience truly international in scope and expose our students to global settings.
