"Why telework should not be over done" by Prof. Laurent Taskin

Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons

Laurent Taskin, PhD in Economics and Management, Professor at the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) and Visiting Professor at the University Paris Dauphine - PSL, shared his opinion on telework in La Libre.

"Telework is one of those subjects on which everyone has an opinion, especially since it is practiced by more than 40% of employed employees. Experts and consultants in the field have multiplied in recent months to present us with an idyllic vision of telework: a panacea for mobility problems, imposed social distancing, quality of life at work... It is so positive that we can no longer seem to do without it."

"Pourquoi il ne faut pas abuser du télétravail", La Libre

"Telework, and beyond?" is the title of the plenary lecture Prof. Laurent Taskin will give for opening the new academic year in Mons on 14.10.20. His talk will shed light on the contemporary challenges telework raise for the organizations and their management. Drawing on a solid scientific background in management studies and many research conducted on that topic, he will share some thoughts about what the future of work could be, and enter in dialogue with the community of entrepreneurs the UCLouvain’s Vice-Rector for Hainaut, Prof. Alain Vas, has gathered for this inaugural session.
