Leadership is sometimes hard to define, but it becomes crystal clear in times of uncertainty, of severe stress on the system, when that impossible situation, one that was completely unpredictable, throws everything into chaos.
It’s precisely during the hard times that true leadership thrives.
BMI is hosting an event with Joseph McMahon and Mark Moutarde – former soldiers and successful businessman who now also work in consulting.
While building, training and leading military teams on operations in the most complex of environments, Mark and Joseph became comfortable with chaos and developed the kinds of leaders and structures that thrive in it to consistently achieve peak performance when it really matters.
During the event they will discuss:
- How do you motivate people to a level of belief where they will knowingly put their lives at risk in pursuit of the mission?
- What is the best leadership style in harsh environments and what qualities underpin it?
- How do you not lose yourself and become overwhelmed when experiencing high levels of stress? What can you do to handle that pressure and demonstrate exceptional leadership?
The webinar is organized by BMI Brussels for the UCLouvain BMI International EMBA programme.
