The Quetelet Journal invites population scientists to submit a paper for the Demog-Crazy Award before April Fools Day 2024.
In homage to Belgian surrealism, the aim of the Demog-Crazy Award is to reward and publish an article in population sciences that first makes readers laugh with its title and summary, then makes them think and encourages them to read the article. The publication would highlight the fact that even demographic research that seems bizarre or absurd can provide useful theoretical or methodological insights.
The prize will consist of an invitation to the Quetelet Seminar where the award will be presented.
