To contribute to the resolution of environmental problems, to guide choices and actions in a direction of sustainable development, to work towards their realization ... All these actions require a good control and a good integration of the scientific and technical aspects, but also economic, legal, social, demographic and political issues...
The objective of the interdisciplinary specialized master in science and management of the environment and sustainable development is to train future professionals capable :
to dialogue with all the stakeholders,
to approach environmental issues in a systemic way and to integrate all the factors and dimensions necessary for their reasoned management: scientific, economic, ethical, societal and technical dimensions,
to develop a synthetic vision of all interactions between the ecosystems and the sociosystems and to identify the synergies that are necessary for the realization of the actions.
This master opens access to jobs related to the environment and sustainable development, or outside these fields (great adaptability of graduates). We find our graduates in private companies, consulting firms, non-governmental and associative organizations (from the regional to the international level), public administrations (from the municipal level to the international level), as well as in the education. The sectors concerned are mainly the tertiary sector and consultancy, but also the secondary sector (production and processing), and to a lesser extent in the primary sector.
