How and When to apply

Admission and enrolment process for a Joint Degree Master programme

  1. Your home university has to nominate you by filling in the Nomination Form and send it at the following e-mail address: epl-jointdegrees@uclouvain.be
  2. Each student must fulfill the following steps to complete her/his admission and enrolment process :

  • Non-European students must have completed their UCLouvain online registration form by March 31, 2024. To support you in this registration process, please visit : How to apply | UCLouvain

  • European students are encouraged to complete their UCLouvain online registration form simultaneously with their EPL application process (see deadline below) so as to finalize the full registration process in an efficient way. The latest deadline for EU students to complete this online registration form is September, 13, 2024

  • Both European and Non-European students must complete the Louvain School of Engineering double-degree admission process by April 16, 2024

The Admission Form must be completed and send back to epl-jointdegrees@uclouvain.be with the following documents:

  1. An ECTS or Time Learning Agreement signed by the student and the academic coordinator of the sending institution.
  2. An official transcript of records of all previous years in higher education as well as the list of courses currently followed.
  3. A language proficiency certificate for English (see language requirements at: English-taught courses at EPL

For T.I.M.E. double degree programmes, please use the T.I.M.E. Learning Agreement, which will allow you to establish your study programme over the two academic years.

For other joint degree programmes, please use the usual learning agreement provided by your home institution. 

Once you receive the confirmation from Louvain School of Engineering that your admission as double-degree student has been validated, you will receive an update from the UCLouvain Enrolment office regarding your enrolment as a regular student. It is important to keep in mind that this enrolment is compulsory in order to enable you to receive the UCLouvain diploma, upon successful completion of your joint degree programme.
