FRS-FNRS " Phénoménologie "

The group's mission is ‘to develop collaborations, to promote phenomenological philosophy in Belgium through prospective research and to create a synergy at the service of an evolving phenomenology, without adhering to any orthodoxy.

FRS-FNRS " Esthétique et philosophie de l’art "

The group's purpose is to promote research in the domain of aesthetics and to stimulate encounters between researchers in this field.

2. Partners

 

The CEP collaborates on a regular or ad hoc basis with the following partners:

  • The network of Husserl Archives in Leuven, Cologne, Freiburg, Paris and New York
     
  • The Continental Philosophy Laboratory at Laval University in Canada, directed by Professor Sophie-Jan Arrien, which conducts numerous projects on German and French phenomenology.
     
  • The Centre d'herméneutique phénoménologique, Université de Paris-Sorbonne, directed by Professors Jean-Claude Gens, Michael Foessel and Claude Romano, with which it publishes the Bulletin heideggérien.
     
  • The Phenomenology Research Center (PRC) Attached to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, this centre is directed by Professor Anthony J. Steinbock. It welcomes doctoral students, post-doctoral students, young researchers and established researchers of all nationalities, working together to promote original phenomenological research and to deepen knowledge of the classics of German and French phenomenology.
     
  • The International Institute for Hermeneutics (IIH), directed by Professor Andrezj Wiercinski (Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg), which organises numerous international events and publishes an online journal: Analecta hermeneutica.
