Jacques is such an inspirational model for me, on top of his immense scientific contributions, he was a true leader that created the unique atmosphere at CORE recognised all over the world, he was also an entrepreneur to create CORE and develop it into a world renowned research center. But above all of this, the first thing that comes to my mind when remembering Jacques is his unfailing generosity. I feel so privileged and grateful to have known Jacques and have had regular chats with him. May his spirit continue to guide CORE.
