IRES invites papers for a workshop that will take place on 24 and 25 June 2024. The purpose of this workshop is to create the opportunity for graduate students and early-stage researchers to present and discuss their work in an environment especially focused on constructive feedback and support.

Institutions, Human Capital and Long-Term Development: Lessons from Pre-Modern Europe
Keynote Speakers

Paper Submission
The organizers strive to accommodate around 20 speakers. Accepted papers will receive 30 minutes each (approx. 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for discussion). Lunch and dinner will be provided by the local hosts but invited speakers should cover travel and hotel accommodation themselves. Participants are expected to attend the whole workshop.

- a brief CV (max 2 pages).
Early career scholars and researchers from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in academia are especially encouraged to apply.
