Research2B, the network of the different Knowledge Transfer Offices from universities and university colleges of Brussels!

UCLouvain is proud to be a member of Research2B, the new network gathering the different Knowledge Transfer Offices from universities and university colleges of Brussels.
Research2B helps companies find the appropriate expertise among the Brussels universities and university colleges for scientific and industrial collaboration.
It is a single point of entry for collaborations with the academic world!

On behalf of all the stakeholders involved in this project supported by Innoviris, and as a partner institution, the official launch of Research2B is the network gathering the different Knowledge Transfer Offices from universities and university colleges of Brussels.

The network is composed of: Université libre de Bruxelles, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles, Université catholique de Louvain, Odisee, Erasmushogeschool Brussel and SynHERA, in charge of the knowledge transfer of the 8 French-speaking University Colleges (HE2B, HE Galilée, HE Léonard de Vinci, HE ICHEC-ECAM-ISFSC, HE Lucia de Brouckère, HE Francisco Ferrer, HELB-Ilya Prigogine, HE EPHEC) and their 4 associated Research Centres (Meurice R&D, IRISIB, CERDECAM, IHECS Academy) of the Brussels Capital Region.

Research2B, just like TTO Flanders in Flanders and Réseau LiEU in Wallonia, will offer its expertise for academic and industrial collaborations in Brussels.

This includes:

  • access to specialised analysers and high-end equipment of all KTOs,
  • support in identifying the most appropriate research team,
  • suggestions of potential funding schemes (among others, Innoviris Innovation Vouchers available for Brussels SMEs)
  • administrative support to set up contracts.

Also, it is important to note that, as from today, Research2B is a single point of contact for collaborations with the academic world.
