AI group focuses on:
- Automatic segmentation of organs at risk and target volumes with deep convolutional neural networks
- Automatic treatment planning through deep learning dose prediction followed by dose mimicking
- Deep learning based decision tools for treatment selection (i.e. proton therapy versus conventional radiotherapy)
- Improving the efficiency and the quality assurance of current deep learning algorithms for medical applications (i.e. uncertainty estimation, active learning, etc…)
