IMMC will welcome Prof. Mattia Gazzola (U of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and National Center for Supercomputing Applications) in the context of several ongoing collaborations in CFD for bio-locomotion and bio-inspiration.
Together with ICTEAM/INMA, IMMC have organized for him to give a seminar on Wednesday, December 6th, from 5 to 6pm at BARB92,

“Design of soft machines”
Mattia’s research combines mechanics, advanced numerical simulation, optimization and artificial intelligence for the design of quite unique “devices” which are cutting through the boundary between artificial and biological systems.
