  1. UCLouvain, the Space to .BE in the framework of the Belgian Space Week - 18/10/2022
    On 18 Octobre 2022, in the framework of the « Belgian Space Week », UCLouvain hosted a conference dedicated to Space. The conference day was held in presence of three astronauts from Dirk Frimout's flight : Robert Thirsk (Canada), Reinhold Ewald (Germany) et Anna Fisher (USA).
    During the day, students, secondary school students, scientists and the general public were able to meet Louvain4Space scientists who work on Space at UCLouvain and to discuss with experienced astronauts.

  3. Switch to space 2

    Second edition of the event organized by the YouSpace platform
    Switch to space conferences are a unique occasion for space professionals to bring forward their activities and meet students interested in the space sector. Furthermore, these conferences also allow students to experience all the aspects of the space sector (research, industry, applications...) and to familiarize themselves with the different jobs of the space sector.

  4. Space Summer School

    Event organized by the Nuclear Center of Mol
    The Space Summer School is a multidisciplinary and international learning event for highly-motivated PhD students, early-stage researchers and professionals from a diverse range of educational and professional backgrounds (biomedical scientists, physicists, (bio-)engineers, …), with an interest in life sciences and physical & medical health challenges associated with human space exploration. It combines theoretical classes, practical exercises and technical visits in several domains related to space research and development.

  5. SPACE Industry Day

    Event organized by the KU Leuven (Auditorium van de 2e Hoofdwet, Thermotechnisch Instituut, Heverlee)
    A series of actors of the space sector will present their panel of activities, ongoing and future projects as well as their professional profiles and job opportunities. Moments are foreseen to allow for direct contact between the participants and the industry actors.

Many courses can be linked to the space sector. Practically, not only engineers and physicists courses are the basics for space jobs, but there are also some philosophy and law courses.
