Success, solidarity and smart deals: your everyday helping hands

Because completing your studies successfully means being able to study with peace of mind and manage your expenses without stress, the UCLouvain Student Support Service and its partners offer practical solutions to boost your success and ease your daily budget.

Booster Blocus: put every chance on your side

Preparing for exams is a key moment in your year, and the financial aspect should never be an obstacle to your academic success. The Booster Blocus scheme (supervised exam revision) offers you support and optimal study conditions. Thanks to the intervention of the Student Support Service, a large part of the enrolment fee is covered directly by the university.

What does it cost?

Your contribution: you pay just €15.

Coverage: the rest of the costs are fully covered once your application is accepted.

Who is eligible?

This support is available to students experiencing social or financial difficulties, and in particular:

  • recipients of a study allowance from the “Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles”
  • recipients of financial support from the UCLouvain Student Support Service

External material support (Louvain-la-Neuve only)

Beyond the university's direct support, local partner organisations are active on the Louvain-la-Neuve campus to offer you nearby logistical, material and moral support.

L’Entraide Blocry

L'Entraide de Blocry provides moral and material support to families in difficulty. Distribution of food is organised every month in Ottignies and Louvain-la-Neuve.

Le Truc à Troc

This is a second-hand shop: clothes, crockery, baby items.

The opening sessions are run by volunteers and the profits are distributed to non-profit organisations.
