The Centre for English Corpus Linguistics has organized several international conferences and workshops on learner corpora, contrastive linguistics, phraseology and lexicography.
It has also organized summer schools on learner corpus research, with the aim of introducing learner corpus research through a series of lectures, workshops and hands-on sessions, and showing how the challenges it presents can be met.
In 2025, it will organize a conference on Register and task variation in Learner corpus research.
