Florence Sterck is awarded a Gustave Boël - Sofina Fellowship

Florence Sterck, a young researchers at the IRMP, is the recipient of one of the prestigious Gustave Boël - Sofina Fellowships 2021.
 
These fellowships are awarded every year by the F.R.S.-FNRS, with the help of the Fondation Roi Baudouin, to PhD students with an outstanding academic record for a research stay in a host institution abroad. Florence is preparing her PhD on the interactions between category theory and the theory of Hopf algebras, under the joint supervision of professors Marino Gran (UCLouvain) and Joost Vercruysse (ULB).
During the academic year 2021-22 she will spend six months at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in the Laboratory for Topology and Neuroscience of professor Kathryn Hess-Bellwald
