► How is the renewal of the PEPS status (HTM) the following academic year, made?
In most cases, the PEPS status, granted to students with disabilities, disorders or illnesses, is valid for the duration of their university studies.
Nevertheless, for students suffering from diseases, the student doctor may ask the student to meet him in order to judge the current evolution of his pathology and thus reassess the need to renew the PEPS status. If necessary, the doctor may request that the certificate of medical expertise be completed again by the student's medical specialist. In this specific case, Dans ce cas concret, the doctor of the Help service will contact the student herself to ask him to carry out such a follow-up. In all other cases, the renewal of the PEPS status (HTM) will be done automatically provided that the student remains enrolled at UCLouvain.
► How is status assigned?
A PEPS (HTM) commission of UCLouvain experts meets twice during the current academic year (mid-October and mid-February) and decides only on the complete files that have been completed by the deadlines indicated. The decision is then communicated to the student by mail.
In case of a favorable decision, the student is invited to establish his individual support plan with the pedagogical accompanist and the academic authorities of his faculty
► Who to contact?
For any questions regarding the granting of PEPS status and the accommodations you may be able to benefit from, you can contact:
