ACM Student Chapter

We are proud to announce that our ACM Student Chapter won the prestigious ACM 2010-2011 Student Chapter Excellence Award for our Outstanding Activities.

We are the only European awarded chapter and with India the two non-American chapters.  ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery, is the premier worldwide professional society for computer science.  Our chapter was founded in 2009 by computer science researchers and students from EPL.  The goal of the chapter is to promote computer science through many activities such as conferences, trainings (LaTeX, BeGrid, Agile Campus Tour, etc.), Scienceinfuse festival weekend, Belgian Olympiads in Informatics, and others.
