New international students were welcomed to EPL by the Vice-Dean in charge of International Relations, Professor Sophie Demoustier. 54 Erasmus students from 25 countries will stay in Louvain-la-Neuve during the 2014-2015 academic year.
At this welcoming event, they were able to follow a briefing session with practical information about student life at UCL proposed by BEST Louvain-la-Neuve (Board of European Students of Technology) and ESN (Erasmus Student Network). They then participated in games which aimed to facilitate dialogue between them and EPL students that have volunteered to be their buddies in Louvain-la-Neuve. The reception ended with a drink in the cafeteria of the Hall Ste Barbe.
BEST organizes various activities to facilitate exchanges among engineering students in Europe and to a lesser extent in the rest of the world including summer courses and a European competition, the final will be held in Porto in August 2015.

L'EPL accueille ses étudiants internationaux avec le soutien de BEST et ESN
Les nouveaux étudiants internationaux ont été accueillis à l’EPL par la Vice-Doyenne en charge des Relations Internationales, le professeur Sophie Demoustier. 54 étudiants Erasmus de 25 pays séjourneront à Louvain-la-Neuve pendant l’année académique 2014-2015.
Lors de cet accueil, ils ont pu suivre une séance d’informations pratiques sur la vie étudiante à l’UCL proposée par BEST Louvain-la-Neuve (Board of European Students of Technology) et ESN (Erasmus Student Network). Ils se sont ensuite prêtés à une session ludique dont le but était de faciliter le dialogue entre eux et avec les étudiants de l’EPL présents pour les « parrainer » lors de leur séjour. L’accueil s’est clôturé par un drink dans la cafétéria du Hall Ste-Barbe.
BEST organise de nombreuses activités pour faciliter les échanges entre étudiants ingénieurs en Europe et en moindre mesure dans le reste du monde, notamment des cours d’été et une compétition européenne dont la finale se déroulera à Porto en août 2015.
