The SMCS

The SMCS is a support platform in statistics which offers services both to members of the university and external entities.

The services offered by the platform include:

  • Consulting services: intervention at any step of a data analysis project, from design to analysis and presentation of results.
  • Training courses: training courses on various statistical methods and tools, which are sometimes organized multiple times a year and last from half a day to a week or even a whole year (such as the Junior Data Analyst university certificate, modular version). Personalized training courses are also possible.
  • Help conducting surveys: support for conducting questionnaire-based surveys, provided through training courses, personalized advice or by taking over management of the entire project.
  • Support for research projects: involvement in academic or industrial research projects with a large component of applied statistics.
