My name is Paulina and I was admitted to the joint degree program between UCL and Universita Bocconi following bachelor studies in my home country, Slovakia. It was for me a very interesting international experience, but at the same time a big study challenge. The level at both universities was very high and I needed to work regularly and intensely in order to come up to the requirements.
The Master had a logical structure. In the first year at Bocconi we learned a lot of useful tools, in particular in mathematics and statistics, that constituted the basis of our formation. Then, in the second year at UCL, we were required to apply them in the different advanced economics courses.
I truly value this Joint Degree experience in that it opened my horizons and gave me the opportunity to engage in a serious, intellectually highly demanding and meaningful work."
