"Forced remote work is a time bomb" by Prof. Laurent Taskin

Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons

Laurent Taskin, PhD in Economics and Management, Professor at the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) and Visiting Professor at the University Paris Dauphine - PSL, shared his research on Remote Work in Le Monde.

"Some people today welcome the forced development of telework and are already sketching the contours of a future world of work that is more networked, requires less travel and offers more conciliation between work and non-work. It could be a painful awakening. What is at stake today is the profound reconfiguration of the relationship to work, with the risk that this experience of telework will definitively distance employees from their work. This is a fundamental issue for organisations, which goes far beyond the conjectures on the development of telework."
