HERA awards / UCLouvain and LSM students rewarded for the quality of their Master's theses in link with societal and environmental issues

Every year, the Foundation for Future Generations grants the HERA Awards, meant to highlight the excellence of Master’s and PhD theses linked with sustainability issues.

This year, 8 works from UCLouvain students, among which 2 Master's students from the Louvain School of Management, have received the congratulations from the jury.

Sibylle Halloy has won the HERA Award Cooperative Sustainable Economy for her Master’s thesis on participative management in work integration social enterprises, supervised by Prof. Julie Hermans and defended in 2019 at LSM.

Astrid Piérard was nominated for the HERA Award Sustainable & Responsible Finance for her Master’s thesis on low carbon indexes and a critical analysis of their ability to answer environmental challenges, supervised by Prof. Anh Nguyen and also defended in 2019 at LSM.
