UStart LLN / Start-up Game

Louvain-La-Neuve, Mons

UStart LLN's Event Department will be organizing a second edition of the Start-up Game.

Indeed, after the success of the first edition organized on 17.11.19 at the Club Justine Henin in Limelette, UStart has decided to repeat the experience. It was more than 70 students (bachelor and master) from UCLouvain and other universities who met during this day to solve the boxes proposed by Wooclap and Tyro, one taking place in the morning and the other in the afternoon.

The winners of each case were chosen by a jury composed of the two start-ups, alumni of the club and influential people from the entrepreneurial sphere (Yncubator, Mind&Market, LJE, OpenHub...).

Catering for lunch was provided as well as a closing drink to meet and discuss in a friendly atmosphere.

With the organization of this Start-up Game, UStart wanted to show that the world of start-ups is just as challenging as that of big companies. It was also an opportunity for the club to promote entrepreneurship among young people and to gain professionalism.

The second edition should take place around the eighth week of the first quarter of the academic year 2020-2021 if the health crisis allows it, with a venue still to be defined. UStart aims to make it a major annual event.
