The QEM program opens a wide range of employment opportunities. The intensive training
you receive over the two years, combined with the extensive network built by studying at two
or three universities, creates strong prospects for pursuing an academic career. At the same
time, this master's program is also highly valued in the private sector. Currently, I am working
as a risk manager in the company Prometeia. Although I deviated somewhat from what I
studied, I did not have any problems in getting hired. Moreover, choosing to do a master's
degree of this type (and successfully completing it) also signals a strong personality and an
ability to learn quickly in a new environment, both highly sought-after qualities in the
professional world.
However, for those considering applying to the program, I would recommend focusing less
on the distant future and career paths. Two years is a significant amount of time, and your
career goals might evolve during the program. Instead, prioritize what the QEM program
offers immediately: excellent academic preparation and an incredible life experience. You'll
have the opportunity to meet and learn from people from all over the world, creating lifelong
friendships. While the knowledge you gain will stay with you forever, your newfound friends
will likely scatter across the globe after graduation. So, cherish the opportunity to build these
connections and prepare for future adventures as you travel the world to visit them.
