Boot Camp - Tools and Methods for Economists

The Bootcamp is MANDATORY for all NEWCOMER (student) registered in an ESL master’s in economics.

• Mandatory for NEWCOMERS in every ESL programmes (ECON2M1, ECON2MS/G (double degree incl.), ECON2MD, ECON2MA (double degree incl.), ETRI2MA, QEM2 (even if at UCLouvain in QEM1S2))
• Mandatory for students who did not submit their assignment in 2023-2024 (and previous years)
• 5 modules of 3 hours each (2 hours Theory + 1 hour Practice)
• 2 instructors from SMCS service (Methodology & Statistics)
• Exercises given by ESL Data Analyst (Thomas Eisfeld)
• Attendance Mandatory to the 5 modules
• Assignment to be submitted after the 5 modules (deadline mi-December (exact date TBC) / PASS or FAIL evaluation)

From Week 3 to Week 9 on Mondays and Fridays from 8:30 to 12:45 (see specific schedule depenfing on groups )
