Abstract:

This is a supplement to the first talk in which we look at various examples including the gapminder bubble charts, tree charts such as presented on the web pages of the atlas of economic complexity, the display of the global burden of disease, memos of the European Traffic Safety Council and Euro-barometers. Time permitting, we'll also explore ways of creating graphs on maps using the google maps API.
