The Excellence Scholarship Program of the Research Institute in Mathematics and Physics (IRMP) was established in 2016. These scholarships are awarded annually to excellent students wishing to enroll in the master's program in mathematics or physics at UCLouvain. The selection is based on the excellence of the applicants' academic CV and the plan of studies. In 2020, the scholarship recipients are Antoine DETAILLE and Bo Shan DEVAL who, exceptionally this year, will both continue in mathematics. On this occasion, the Ecole de Mathematiques of UCLouvain will contribute financially to the grants next to the IRMP.
The two laureates have a bachelor's degree from UCLouvain and have chosen to continue their brilliant studies with the aim of preparing a thesis in one of the research lines of the IRMP.
